Wandering around Oppide a Vieux, I walked up beyond the old town square to find some shade and found this lovely compositon not needing any correction. The road goes down around the curve and ends in the old town square. The variation of light and shade creates interest in meandering down the road. In the distance is a couple of old chateau. Above them is an historic old church on top of the hill. I tried to walk up there but the path was old broken stones and steps that were still wet and slippery from the recent rain. Difficult to manage with my 20 lb painting backpack. So I didn't make it to the top.
